This was the most recent keyboard I ever dealt with. It feels just like a player piano, and has the sound to match it. The list price is quite steep, but you can get one off of eBay for around $1000, $900 if you're lucky. A couple of the nicer specs on this are it's Arpegiattor and it's Zones.

The Arpegiattor let's you specify the type of Arpegio, it's tempo, note length, direction, etc. and will use those attributes on any note you play. You can get some really wicked effects going on the lower notes to act as almost a pad for you're other layers.

The Zones are a nice way of dividing the keyboard into separate instruments, or layer them on top of each other. You can specify the key range and the instrument, as well as the volume and many other options. This is great for getting a full symphony effect going.

The inputs are standard with the regular left (mono), right, headphones inputs, as well as the midi ones; but then it also has 4 continuous controll pedal inputs and 2 switch pedal inputs (I used a sustain pedal for one of them, and it worked very well)
